Group exhibition “Tatouage. Histoires de la Méditerranée” at Centre de la Vieille Charité, Marseille, France

Several photographs by Marc Riboud are presented in this exhibition created by the Museums of Marseille, which proposes a deep study of the practice of tattoo in the Mediterranean world, from the antiquity to nowadays. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, videos, fashion and everyday life objects punctuate the visit, associating the scientific inputs of history, history of art, archeology, ethnology and anthropology, untill evoking the actual ranges of Marseille tattoos and its place in pop culture imaginary.
