Retrospective “Marc Riboud, Verso il mondo” at Filatoio de Caraglio, Italy
The retrospective exhibition “Marc Riboud, Verso il mondo” is organized as a tribute to Marc Riboud, who left us ten years ago, with the curators Chantal and Gabriel Bauret, at Filatoio de Caraglio. The Filatoio is a former silk factory from the 17th century which, from the Piemont mountains use to send its silk skeins to Lyon, Marc Riboud’s native city. For this exhibition, Guimet – National Museum of Asian Arts, Paris, lends 180 prints from Marc Riboud’s photographic archive, showing the diversity of Marc Riboud’s work and life.

Group exhibition “Plein les yeux ! Une histoire animale du livre photographique pour enfants” at Rouen Normandy Photographic Centre
(Re)discover 2 photographs by Marc Riboud in a new exhibition about the photography books for children. Through the theme of the animals, the exhibition enlights the variety of such books – from documentary to visual tale, from esthetic manifesto to poetic imagery. Combining books as well as modern and vintage prints, it gathers works by David Crossley, Dominique Darbois, Robert Doisneau, Charles Fréger, Tana Hoban, Frank Horvat, Xavier Lambours, Thérèse Le Prat, Jean Lecointre, Marc Riboud, Alexandre Rodtchenko, Jean Tourane, Tomi Ungerer, William Wegman and Ylla.
