Exhibition “Mais la photographie continue !”, invitation to Le Réverbère gallery by Présence(s) Photographie festival, Montélimar, France

from May 24th to June 8th 2025

After “Histoire(s) sans fin”, their closure exhibition presented in their gallery in Lyons, Le Réverbère Gallery has been invited by the festival to imagine this new exhibition “Mais la photographie continue !”
A new page written with the photographers who wished to participate as a manifesto of the gallery’s choices and their love for photography.

The exhibition gathers the works by 18 photographers: Laure Abouaf, Frédéric Bellay, Arièle Bonzon, Pierre Canaguier Thomas Chable, Serge Clément, Jacques Damez, François Deladerrière, André Forestier, Lionel Fourneaux, Rip Hopkins, William Klein, Géraldine Lay, Baudoin Lotin, Julien Magre, Philippe Pétremant, Loïc Xavier and Marc Riboud.

Exhibition presented at Centre d’art Espace Chabrillan
127 rue Pierre Julien, 26200 Montélimar

Exhibition “Histoire(s) sans fin” at Le Reverbere Gallery, Lyon

from September 21st to December 28th 2024

Marc Riboud will be on view at Le Réverbère Gallery in Lyon, along with his old friends William Klein, Bernard Plossu, Denis Roche and many others.
The collective exhibition will feature a selection of emblematic, rare, iconic or unique works by each of the gallery’s photographers.
For Marc Riboud, the gallery has chosen to focus on China, with marvellous “classic” photographs of 1957 and 1965, as well as those of the very modern China of the 2000s.

A word of advice: go for it! All the more so as this is the last exhibition of this remarkable gallery which, for 35 years, has brought photography to the whole region, and which, sadly, will be closing its doors at the end of the year.

Where? Le Réverbère gallery is located at 38 rue Burdeau, 69001 Lyon

Exhibition “Le Japon en duo”, Gallery Le Réverbère, Lyon, France

from September 10th 2022 to March 11th 2023

One, Marc RIBOUD, in black and white, has photographed Japan in 1958 – a body of word to (re)discover from a selection of vintage and modern prints entrusted by his heirs.

The other, Géraldine LAY, in colour, has wondered in the country four times three weeks (from 2016 to 2019) to discover the archipelago. Both, in front of the unknown, let the fragility of its perception guide them, without protocole or preconsidered depiction.

Gallery Le Réverbère is located at 38 rue Burdeau, 69001 Lyon.
Free entrance from Wednesday to Saturday, 2pm to 7pm, and otherwise by appointment.
